Despyre “Irritation” EP Review

7 October 2017 Album Review News

For a band that has only been together for a couple of years, Long Island’s very own metal powerhouse, Despyre does not have a rookie sense to their music. Their brand of in your face unapologetic metal smacks your ear holes with blistering guitars, growling vocals, hard hitting drums, and thumping bass lines. And although their tunes have a fresh feel to each track I have heard, the band’s style does not lack that veteran touch.

If you are wanting to get your ass rocked, Despyre are here to oblige.

The five song EP entitled, “Irritation” is a no holds barred helping of music that will no doubt leave you salivating for more. From the opening track, to the very last beat of the final song, the fan is going to be no doubt entertained to the max. I dig Despyre’s go hard or go home approach to their music. They go heavy and hard, and is not for the faint hearted.

If you are hungry for relentless metal, then be sure to check out, Despyre!
