Recently releasing their latest single, “Bullet of Revolution”, I had a chance to get the know the band and to learn some insight on their new (for my show) music in an unadulterated, unedited interview. Make sure to check out TainT, their music and always #spreadtheloveformusic by sharing the music you love!

Tell us a little about the band, where are you from?

How did you meet?

All 4 of us come from the same region in Poland called Silesia, but each of us lives in a different city. The only founding member left is Kacper – our vocalist. The current line-up was formed in early 2020, and that’s when it all seriously kicked off.

Kacper found Krystian and Mateusz on an online forum; Grzesiek was recommended through a mutual friend.

What kind of music would you describe your sound as?

Who are some of your musical influences?

We usually say we play alternative metal – but we believe that the best way to understand our sound is just by listening to our music. The genre is not that important – whether you like the music or not – is!

We are 4 different personalities and it can be seen in our musical influences which – more often than not – are really different. However, we do not consider it a bad thing. Sure, it makes things more challenging when it comes to agreeing upon a certain part of a song but on the other hand we are able to create something new out of this mixture.

Let’s talk about the newest single “Bullet of Revolution”

Tell us what the song is about and what inspired the song?

This song is a manifesto against the crooked reality of the world surrounding us, which is full of chaos and hypocrisy. It speaks of courage, steadfastness and striving for the light in the darkest moments. We direct it to all those who struggle with their inner demons. We would like it to give you strength and hope. Don’t give up, no matter what you are currently struggling with.

How does the collaboration process work as far as writing/composing music?

As we met just as the pandemic started, we had to learn how to collaborate remotely. During that time we managed to create enough material to release our second EP – “Looking for Myself”. The experience we gained during that time is useful nowadays as well – we of course enjoy making music together but as we don’t live close to each other it’s often easier to do some stuff online. Our compositions usually start with a guitar riff, then we work on the rhythmic section. When we have a vocal line, we go back to the instruments to make sure we leave enough space for it.

How does it feel when you put all your hard work to the test and perform live?

Do you have any crazy performance band/fan stories?

Surely, it’s really rewarding. Live shows are the main reason why we do what we do. It’s a great feeling to be able to connect symbiotically with the crowd. We give them our energy and at the same time, just by looking at them having fun, we can recharge our own batteries. Quite recent crazy story is related to the show we played in late November in Norway. We were invited there by a follower of our TikTok account. He saw a video of ours where we compared the expectations and reality of backstages and proposed that he and his friends would host an event especially for us so that we could see the best backstage ever, prepared with unmatched hospitality. Needless to say we didn’t have to think too much about his proposal. And he was right – best backstage ever!

Let’s shake it up a little. Tell us some strange facts about the band, that virtually no one would know.

We recently refreshed our image – we wanted to incorporate a bright color into our look to stand out a bit more whenever we play a show – after all, usually everyone is dressed in black at metal shows. We ended up with orange – the idea came from our drummer, because his drums are that color!
