Foo Fighters show why they are the Kings of Rockville

Day three at Welcome To Rockville was more “charged” than the rest with pyro, fire hoses, camaraderie, and pure raw emotion, everywhere… more laughs, more heartfelt hugs and just. MORE. Backstage, I met up with some old friends and was introduced to some new international rising stars; Crobot, Soulfly, Hed PE, Tim Montana, Fire from the Gods, Get Out Driver, Nova Twins, VUKOVI and Calva Louise to just name a few.

“Times like These” prove that blood doesn’t make family, and this community is a #family. As the Foo Fighters say “Kings and Queens and in between we all deserve the right,… RESCUE ME.. Tonight”.  And rescue me they did, the entire day seemed like a culmination leading upto the Mighty FOO (I guess technically it was ) Once they started playing you forgot about everything, they rescued you with their amazing presence, their shenanigans with Wolfgang Van Halen, acoustic version of Times like these, and a heartfelt heaven directed dedication to Taylor. Between dancing bananas, people in colorfully adorned clothing, to the child with headphones on their mom’s shoulder – family.
