Jelly Roll, Limp Bizkit, Falling in Reverse highlight an Amazing Day 2 at Welcome to Rockville!

Welcome To Rockville Day Two:

What looked like could be some weather issues, the clouds looked menacing, but mother nature spared us again and gave us a beautiful yet very hot day. I spent most of the day with some amazing bands backstage, some doing their media debuts and others supporting awareness of trauma and abuse which plays out in their songs. The festival was alive with activity, optimism and intelligent conversation, and great food – Island Noodles and Blackens’ Adult Happy meal crushed it again today! DWP Presents never disappoints with the amazing food vendors they bring in, giving the fans a variety of amazing food!

And one of my highlights of the day was meeting a living legend Tech N9ne He was absolutely amazing, his energy, charm, professionalism and charisma was a pleasure to be around. Citizen Soldier, Low Spirit and festival camping favorite Kingdom Collapse stopped by for chats, radio tags and promotion. And I was able to reconnect and talk briefly with Jason Hook of Flat Black and formally with 5FDP, and after years of working with him it was so great to see the new band, playful and happy and I can’t wait to see what they do next.

The rest of the day thankfully had no more weather instances other than the God awful heat and with a lineup with Kittie, Jelly Roll, Limp Bizkit, Falling in Reverse, Starset and more you just couldn’t go wrong. True emotion and collaborations are always great to see and tonight we saw both Tech9 joining Falling in Reverse on stage and Jelly Roll being moved to tears as he covered his mom’s favorite song.
