Kiwi band, KAOSIS, drop a killer nu-industrial track off the back of the success of their previous single,
BREAKING THE FALLEN feat. ANDERS COLSEFNI + JEFFREY NOTHING.

The New Zealand Numetal Act harnesses the power of TONY CAMPOS (FEAR FACTORY and STATIC X) and LOGAN MADER (ex-MACHINEHEAD and ONCE HUMAN) in the storming industrial, nu-metal track,
SINK INTO GREY.

Tony Campos appears on the Kaosis track ahead of releasing Static X’s long-anticipated REGENERATION: VOL 2 on November 3rd. Campos adds weight and low-end girth to the Kaosis track by showcasing his signature aggressive bass tones that currently drive riffs in both FEAR FACTORY and STATIC X. Campos has also played for MINISTRY, SOULFLY, PRONG and ASESINO.

XEN, Kaosis vocalist said, “Tony has almost single-handedly created what we know as the contemporary metal bass sound. We are humbled that he has seen something in us that he deemed worthy to endorse and work with”.

As always, MADER brings his A-Game. Mader takes the unnerving atmosphere and feel of the track and distills it into a dissident lead solo that pushes the track over the edge. Mader rejoined MACHINEHEAD in 2019 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of BURN MY EYES and is currently on tour with TOMMY VEXT.

DJINNOBI, Kaosis guitarist said, “Mader is one of the silent giants of metal. We know his work with Machinehead and Once Human but he has produced and refined the sound of a huge percentage of renowned metal bands including GOJIRA, FFDP and DEVIL DRIVER“.
Sink Into Grey is a feature single from the forthcoming sophomore record, WE ARE THE FUTURE. The new Kaosis record features JEREMIAH STRATTON (AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE/ HEDPE) on drums and PEREDUR AP GYWNEDD from PENDULUM plays guitar.

Kaosis also worked with some hugely influential studio personnel on We Are the Future. The amp engineering was also handled by Mader. Mader played a dominant role in keeping the overall guitar tones authentic to the BURN MY EYES era of Nu- Metal.
The samples were produced by BOOM duo, SEBASTIAN JOHNSON (DARK KNIGHT, GODZILLA, PACIFIC RIM, and PROMETHEUS) and MICHAEL SCHWENDLER (MORTAL KOMBAT X and ELDER SCROLLS).
We are the Future was Mastered by HOWIE WEINBERG. Weinberg has 21 Grammys to his name and has mastered the biggest names in metal and rock including NIRVANAs’ Nevermind, DEFTONES’ White Pony, METALLICAs’ Master of Puppets, SLAYERs Reign in Blood, PANTERAs Cowboys from Hell and LIMP BIZKITs Significant Other.

Sink Into Grey is available now on all leading platforms.
