Please tell us a little about yourself, Ms. Lily.

Lily V. Sixx:
I was born in Washington, PA and I’ve been a music lover since I was super young thanks to my cousin Josie who always had records and cassette tapes blasting through the house. The first song I ever remember rocking out to was “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC. My favorite band is Aerosmith.

I have a degree is Graphic Design from Pittsburgh Technical Institute that mostly gets used for show flyers and similar projects. I’m always on the go. I take every opportunity that presents itself because I don’t want to miss out on something from modeling to theatre to performance art to radio personality. All things I never would have thought I’d do in a million years but still do as long as I can fit them into my life.

My most favorite thing to do is go to a live show because:
A. Music.
B. My music family are all always there.
C. It’s my therapy.

Oh and I collect Muppet things and love all animals.

How long have you been working in the music scene?

Lily V. Sixx:
I’ve been working with Rock Rage Radio for 3 years now and it’s been one of the most fun experiences ever. I’m always at the shows anyway so why not turn that into an opportunity.

Do you have a favorite music genre?

Lily V. Sixx:
I appreciate all music but if I were to choose a favorite it’s going to be the glam metal genre.

Your support of the music scene is very much appreciated! What’s up for the rest of 2020 on Hot Lixx with Lily Sixx?

Lily V. Sixx:
Thank you! Honestly it makes me happy when musicians get to do what they love and I’m glad to be a part of it. Right now for Hot Lixx with Lily Sixx I’ve been getting some fun interviews on the show. The latest was Artimus Pyle, drummer from Lynyrd Skynyrd. There will be more of that coming up especially the unsigned bands.

Coming in November I will be having a 200th show celebration in Pittsburgh, PA with a party at the Sub-Alpine Club. We are going to have a three day event with all bands whose music I’ve featured on Hot Lixx with Lily Sixx. There will be vendors and photographers and it’ll be a blast for sure. I’m looking forward to that event. My actual 200th show falls on December 31st, my birthday.

Other than that getting as much new music out there as I can.

What is the best way for bands to contact you for information on your show?

Lily V. Sixx:
Bands can either message me on my Facebook pages: Lily V. Sixx/Hot Lixx with Lily Sixx or they can email me at I appreciate all submissions and listen to everything that comes through.

How can fans and future fans locate Hot Lixx with Lily Sixx online?

Lily V. Sixx:
They can find me on all the usuals

And of course
That’s pretty much it I don’t explore the other options I’m old now lol.

Is there anything else you would like our readers to know?

Lily V. Sixx:
Be sure to listen in every Thursday at 6PM EST for Hot Lixx with Lily Sixx at for new music and interviews.

Also, if they want to see my silliness watch The Loudini Hard Rock and Metal Circus live on FB every Tuesday at 9PM EST where I cohost with Lou Lombardi (aka Loudini) and Keith Hawkins.

Keep on rocking and supporting the music! You may discover something new that you love.

Shout out to my mom, Tracey for always letting me have all the music even if it’s questionable and my sister Amelia who gets to join in my live concert experiences.
