RYAN KEY Releases New Video… Joins Warped Tour Main Stage for Four Dates

28 June 2018 News

Riding on a unanimous wave of glowing praise for his debut solo EP THIRTEEN, former Yellowcard vocalist WILLIAM RYAN KEY has released the video to his new single “Form and Figure.” “I’m excited for everyone to see the music video,” says Ryan. “I called on my friend and extremely talented videographer/film editor Rob Chianelli. We directed the video together, and Rob shot and edited it wonderfully. One of the coolest parts about self releasing Thirteen has been working with my close friends on the creative side. Knowing there weren’t really going to be ‘singles’ in the traditional sense, I kind of just wanted to do something interesting and engaging with whichever song I felt like.”

In addition, Ryan will perform on the final Warped Tour this Summer for four dates. “Warped Tour was an integral part of the success Yellowcard was able to have,” says Ryan. “In fact, I think our biggest goal when we set out at first was to someday play the Main Stage at Warped. [Founder] Kevin Lyman and Warped Tour have always been champions for the bands they get behind, and we benefited so much from that.”

While he is currently enjoying the resounding success of Thirteen, Ryan will be celebrating his Warped Tour history as part of the seminal band he was a part of for almost two decades with an intimate acoustic Yellowcard set on the Main Stage. “With my first solo work now released, I am looking forward to playing classic Yellowcard songs for fans on the final cross-country Warped Tour. I want the shows to be about celebrating our band’s history and sharing how much it meant to me over the years.”

The four dates on which he will be performing are:
July 10th- Nashville, TN (Tennessee State Fairgrounds)
July 12th- Virginia Beach, VA (Veterans United Home Loans Ampth)
July 13th- Camden, NJ (BB&T Pavilion)
July 14th, Holmdel, NJ (PNC Bank Arts Center)

“I think I’m most looking forward to the show at PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ,” he says. “That crowd has always been a force to be reckoned with. I’m sure the singalongs will be all time.”
